Job Summary

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for the program you must:

Submit a completedinternal application
Hold avalid drivers license
Have worked atClemens Food Group for at least 6 months
Be able tospeak read and comprehend Englishwell enough to communicate clearly with law enforcement
Complete aMotor Vehicle Record (MVR) request
Participate in aninterview with the Safety Team

Selection & Pre-Training Requirements:

If selected you will be required to:

Complete adriver application
Pass apre-employment drug screen(including marijuana)
Pass aDOT physical

Note:You must complete and obtain your CDL permit within 46 weeks of being offered the position. This must be done on your own time and is required to begin the apprenticeship.

Program Overview What Youll Do:

Apprentice Phase:

Participate inclassroom and behind-the-wheel training(approx. 5 weeks)
Complete theCDL-A road test
Train with apeer driver trainerfor an additional34 weeks
The full program includes2200 hours of trainingover approximately10 months

Compensation:

Pay increases throughout the program as you reach key hour milestones and skill achievements
A pay scale with detailed benchmarks will be shared during the intake process
