Job Summary and Responsibilities
A CommonSpirit Health Traveler RN is a direct clinical patient care registered nurse (RN) who provides independent patient care within their scope of practice. The nurse is highly skilled in patient care; actively enhancing core nursing skills and developing advanced nursing knowledge skills abilities and behaviors through education and involvement in nursing activities beyond basic job requirements and responsibilities.

Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in a critical care / intensive care unit.
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) - Provided by American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Provided by American Heart Association (AHA)
Other credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility state licenseand other regulatory requirements for local state and federal agencies.
Certification in specialty preferred; certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
