Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery improvement research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services. On 1 January 2026 Alfred Health will come together with Kooweerup Regional Health Service Peninsula Health Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service to create Bayside Health a newly merged health service with more than 22000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce providing new training education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026 all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.
The Department
Alfred Health has one of the most experienced and technologically advanced radiology/nuclear medicine departments in the country providing service to the population of Melbourne and greater Victoria. Alfred Heath provides a comprehensive range of medical diagnostic and therapeutic services with a modern range of equipment across all modalities for both inpatients and outpatients. The departmental clinical governance strategy ensures a high standard of care for patients undergoing radiological examinations and promotes a multidisciplinary team approach. Alfred Health Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Department is fully accredited with the Department of Health.
The Role
The vibrant and busy Radiography department is fully accreditedand provides a comprehensive range of medical diagnostic services including Ultrasound X-ray Theatre Fluoroscopy and CT.
As a Radiology Clerk you will be responsible for coordinating requests registration of patients and ensuring that patients are processed for their tests. You willprovide high-quality clerical support in the department and ensure the provision of service in atimely effective and efficient way meeting both our customers needs and Alfred Health standards of practice.
