JOB SUMMARY:
Greensboro College in collaboration with Sichuan Film and Television University (SFU) in Chengdu China through a 31 articulation agreement is seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join our joint international program as a Math Instructor. This position offers a unique opportunity to teach Introduction to the
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an instructor in this program you will be responsible for:
- Teaching scheduled courses online forSFU students providing engaging and high-quality instruction.
- Developing and delivering curriculum that teaches students how to create a short animated movie while learning the mathematics of computer graphics.
- Administering course evaluations and participating in course/departmental/programmatic assessment activities.
- Supporting students in their academic and creative development through mentorship and feedback.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of a masters degree in mathematics or 18 credit hours of graduate level coursework in the field of mathematics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students in a multicultural academic setting.
- Ability to adapt to an international teaching environment and foster student creativity and technical skill development.
