Data and Process Optimization Analyst
Location: Austin Texas (Central)
Long-term Contract Position: Hybrid
We are seeking a skilled data and process professional to lead the review analysis and optimization of business systems and processes. This role partners across the organization to ensure that workflows data practices and system capabilities align with strategic business objectives.

We are seeking a skilled data and process professional to lead the review analysis and optimization of business systems and processes. This role partners across the organization to ensure that workflows data practices and system capabilities align with strategic business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or technical environment.
- 4 years of experience designing and implementing business process frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with business process development or reengineering.
- Skilled in applying industry-standard process mapping tools and methodologies.
- Strong ability to collaborate with developers solution architects data teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing data with Excel Tableau Power BI or similar tools.
- Experience supporting Utility industry clients (Electric Water etc.) strongly preferred.
- Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake Azure Synapse BigQuery Databricks) preferred.
- Working knowledge of data governance data quality stewardship and compliance best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently analyze and evaluate business systems to improve efficiency scalability and alignment with organizational frameworks.
- Develop refine and reengineer business processes using industry-standard methodologies.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and design optimized cross-functional workflows that support performance improvement and value creation.
- Contribute to data governance initiatives by helping define policies standards and practices that ensure data quality and consistency.
- Support the development and maintenance of enterprise data governance frameworks.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and define requirements for onboarding data into modern data platforms to support analytics reporting and business intelligence.
- Produce clear documentation including requirements process flows and system functionalities.
