Job Summary
Overview
Remote Position within UnityPoint Health blueprint.
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM*
*We have flexbility with your hours from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM!
Take a leading role as healthcare billing subject matter expert in ensuring smooth efficient daily operations within the Central Billing Office. Provide hands-on training for new team members and offer ongoing support to staff as they navigate process changes questions and day-to-day responsibilities. This position will run point on training answering employee questions auditing.

Responsibilities
Answer questions and resolve problems related to billing operations as billing expert.
Performs complex billing functions such as cleanup of large accounts with multiple months of billing and multiple payer issues. Work with insurance companies on difficult cases such as multiple accounts not getting paid correctly and coding issues.
Share responsibility through timely communication of identified problems to assure proper payment on claims.
Orient and train new staff
Qualifications
Education:
- High School or Vocational School graduate.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Minimum Experience:
- Previous homecare office or pharmacy experience.
Other:
- Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
