Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Algebra Knowledge is required.
- Manchester School District School Certified Teacher or Non-public Teacher where program takes place.
Specific Core Function:
To provide equitable services through academic help homework support and/or academic enrichment classes for the Non-public school with the approved Federally funded activity.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Develops and teaches summer or after school classes and clubs with a strong academic component that demonstrates a link to school day learning program learning goals STEAM and appropriate academic standards or State Standards.
- Provides academic tutoring and assist students with completing homework assignments.
- Connects with school day teachers regarding students understanding of assignments and academic progress.
- Completes reporting and evaluation documentation as required by the approved grant activity.
- Assists the site administrator in providing a safe and secure environment for summer or after-school program participants.
- If applicable assists in the coordination distribution and clean-up of daily snacks.
- Monitors student behavior and notifies site administrator of any problems.
- Reports all incidents regarding students staff and/or any unauthorized visitors to site administrator.
- Meets with the site administrator for regular staff meetings as required.
- Some parent contact may be required.
- Performs other student-related duties as required by site coordinator.
Specified Length/Hours of Position:
- This is a part-time non-affiliated at-will hourly position. This is a grant funded position.
