We are currently seeking a committed
Bilingual Instructional Assistant IIIto join the
Lee Elementaryteam. This is a
full-time (6.5 hrs per day) temporary position. Bilingualism in English and Spanish is for this position as are 72 college level credits or successful completion of a paraprofessional certification.
Minimum Requirements
- Associates degree or a minimum of 72 college/university quarter credits (Required)
- Certification as a highly qualified paraprofessional may be substituted for the education requirement
- Possess or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children or youth in an educational childcare or community setting (Preferred)
- Experience in interpretation and/or translation in an educational or professional setting
- Fluency in English and Spanish as demonstrated by completion of the districts bilingual assessment. To be considered fluent applicants must receive a minimum score of Level 6 on the ACTFL verbal assessment and a minimum score of 18 on the districts written assessment.
