Job Summary
Newton Village a Cassia community is hiring aRegistered Nurse (RN)to join our team.Newton Village is an award-winning senior care community where your skills are valued and your dedication to excellent care makes an impact. This position is part-time with the opportunity to increase hours and transition to full-time for candidates interested in additional shifts. We are offering a $5000 bonus.
As a Registered Nurse atNewton youll deliver compassionate high-quality care to residents administer medications and work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Our ideal candidate is skilled dependable and thrives in a collaborative environment with a strong commitment to enriching the lives of older adults.
Position Type:Part-Time(with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired)
Shifts Available:10:00pm to 6:00am
Bonus: $5000
Location:110 N 5th Ave W Newton IA 50208
Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
- Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents families and staff.
- Works to coordinate oversee and provide resident-related care.
- Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physicians orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
- Manages medications supplies and equipment including ordering receiving storing and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notifies Clinical Manager attending physicians and family members of significant changes in a residents condition and takes follow up action as necessary.
Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:
- Must have a current Iowa RNlicense and be in good standing.
- Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
