Based in our Knoxville Tennessee location you will combine your technical expertise and manufacturing engineering skills to facilitate and ensure operational readiness for production of Reliability Solutions products.

This highly visible role is central to cross-functional collaboration with Technology Product Marketing Supply Chain and Operations to materialize product specifications and customer requirements into ongoing factory production. This includes ensuring the requisite processes engineering specifications and manufacturing systems are in place maintained and continuously improved for optimal production.

The function is especially key in supporting new product introductions new manufacturing processes and managing engineering change orders for production throughout the lifecycle of a product. The position will also support Factory Operations at a technical level by maintaining existing processes and providing technical support as needed.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop refine and document manufacturing processes with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Implement manufacturing processes and equipment required for new product introduction
  • Investigate and resolve assembly and test problems working with Technology Quality Sub-contractors and Supply Chain as required for new and legacy products
  • Work with Technology on production operational requirements and test procedures
  • Manage and implement the Engineering Change Order process. Understand coordinate and ensure ECOs are followed through and implemented properly for Reliability Solutions product lines
  • Prepare capital equipment justifications as necessary
  • Manage Environmental Compliance needs for Operations and assure tracking requirements are being met
  • Collaborate with Technology regarding product compliance agencies and standards including CSA FM IECEx FCC and the CE mark as it applies to the ATEX EMC R&TTE and new directives
  • Provide technical support for production operations and the repair center as needed

For This Role You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering Industrial engineering electronics engineering or similar/equivalent technical four-year degree
  • Minimum of Four years hands-on experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States sponsorship will not be provided for this role
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and direction
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and continue to move forward when requirements are not clearly defined or known driving resolution and agreement among stakeholders
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to build/maintain positive working relationships

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Five years hands-on experience providing engineering or technical experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
