A growing company in Rugeley is looking for an IT Support Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and support their IT infrastructure while providing technical support to customers and field engineers. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge systems and includes occasional project work with customer equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer System Support:
- Liaise with customers to provide remote diagnostics and support
- Implement repair solutions and develop support procedures
- Maintain accurate system records
Internal IT Infrastructure:
- Maintain Linux-based servers and internal networking
- Manage Office 365 environments and user accounts
- Oversee web services and domain management
- Work with the software team on GitLab source code management
- Implement security measures on customer equipment (CIS Hardening)
Customer Equipment Setup:
- Set up and test laptops tablets and other devices
- Install software perform factory acceptance tests and maintain setup procedures
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in IT support or a similar technical role
- Strong Linux and GitLab experience
- Networking domain management and IT asset management knowledge
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
- Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on proactive and can-do attitude
- Degree or relevant experience in IT desirable
