- Visionary leadership in public schools to work with diverse students faculties families and communitiesof the 21st century.

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2025-2026
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead the campus efforts in creating a pervasive college and career-going culture in the school and in the community.
- Identify and utilize research-based strategies and programs that cultivate college and career readiness for all students especially students from low-income and first-in-the family to attend college.
- Identify tools provide resources and structure career exploration linking investigation to academic success and postsecondary preparation.
- Maintain a high level of collaboration with teachers counselors and other departments to ensure that all students receive support and services necessary for career readiness including those needing college coursework.
- Communicate with and/or provide training to campus-based personnel on college and career readiness initiatives.
- Establish a college and career center in the high school.
- Establish partnerships with college and career/technical training programs that facilitate a smooth postsecondary transition for students and parents.
- Utilize data collection methods to evaluate the campus college and career readiness programs and events.
- Monitor the state and federal college and career readiness policies.
- Provide information and feedback to campus on college and career readiness strategies in the Campus Improvement Plan.
- Coordinate and/or collaborate with campus coordinating counselor and director of instruction to support/manage the dual credit and Advanced Placement programs at the high school.
- Coordinate Generation Texas week for campus implementation.
- Work with content area coordinators department chairs and team leaders to include a career focus in all courses.
- Facilitate college testing and diagnostics for all high school students.
- Contribute college and career readiness information on the College & Career Readiness webpage of the campus website.
- Attend and participate in monthly district-level team meetings with other district level college and career specialists.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
