Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) is seeking an exceptional high-energy leader to take the reins of our core Human Resources Operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Capital Officer you will manage a vital team overseeing the entire employee lifecyclefrom attraction and onboarding to compensation records and substitute services.

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Chief Human Capital Officer this leader will manage a team responsible for hiring onboarding compensation employee records substitute services and HR operations. The ideal candidate is a creative adaptable leader with strong communication skills experience in organizational planning and policy implementation and a passion for fostering a positive work environment. This role is critical to attracting developing and retaining a high-quality workforce dedicated to serving TUSDs students and families.

REPORTS TO

Chief Human Capital Officer

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Masters degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or management role.

or

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration or a related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources including at least three (3) years in a supervisory or management role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSConsideration will be given to applicants who explicity confirm possession of the following preferred qualifications in their resume or application.

SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP PHR or SPHR or similar Human Resources certification.

Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Three years of experience in a public school district or similar public organization (e.g. government).

Two years of experience using one or more of the districts specific HRIS products (specifically Infinite Visions SpringSchool/TalentEd Red Rover Frontline).

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS

Verbal and written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions

Experience in working with diverse constituencies/populations.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.

MVReport showing no more than the allowable points against Drivers License as described underGoverning Board Policy: EEB-R-1Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

LOCATION:Human Resources -Broadway and Park Area
FTE:1.0 - 8 hours per day
SALARY RANGE:$81361.03 - $94457.62 annually
WORK CALENDAR:12 month

START DATE:ASAP
