Covia is looking for a dynamic Financial Planning & Analysis Intern who will have a positive impact on the FP&A Team at its North Carolina location. As a FP&A Intern you will have the opportunity to learn and participate in monthly close analysis KPI reporting and various strategic business decisions.
The successful candidate will have the following Key Accountabilities:
- Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information in reports
- Assist in creating and maintaining financial models to support budgeting forecasting and strategic planning activities
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights that support decision-making processes
- Support annual strategic planning process
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required by management
The successful candidate will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in accounting finance or a related field of study from an accredited university
- Interested in developing a career in finance
- Excellent written oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- The ability to think logically and communicate ideas with others
- Willingness to interact and thrive in a diverse group dynamic
