Junior Support Engineer
Salary: Competitive
Location: Rugeley Staffordshire
Contract: Full-Time Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am 5:30pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Support Engineer to join a growing company in Rugeley. You will play a key role supporting customers and field engineers assisting with internal IT and helping configure and commission systems. Occasional national and international travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support:
- Liaise with customers to provide technical support
- Conduct remote diagnostics and implement repair solutions
- Develop support procedures and maintain accurate records
- Assist engineers with on-site and remote system commissioning
- Maintain system records process data and prepare reports
- Collaborate with customers and third-party engineers
- Set up and test laptops tablets and other customer devices
- Install software perform acceptance tests and maintain setup procedures
- Support day-to-day IT operations including servers and staff devices
- Install updates troubleshoot issues and perform backups
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in IT support or a similar technical role
- Strong ICT skills and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
- Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent time management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on proactive and can-do attitude
- Good commercial awareness
