CRB is seeking a highly skilled and licensed Architect IV to lead architectural design efforts for complex Life Sciences Pharmaceutical and Biotech projects. This individual will play a key leadership role in the planning and execution of GMP-compliant facilities with a strong focus on cleanroom design personnel/material flows and adjacency planning. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of regulatory and operational requirements in the life sciences sector.
Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design for life sciences projects including conceptual planning schematic design and construction documentation.
- Generate complex code analyses life safety and egress plans floor plans sections elevations details schedules and specifications for large projects of advanced complexity with no oversight.
- Develop and coordinate cleanroom layouts GMP spaces and critical adjacencies to optimize personnel and material flows.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process engineers MEP and construction professionals.
- Serve as the primary architectural liaison with clients ensuring alignment with project goals timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to the development of architectural standards and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with International building codes Florida building codes GMP regulations and industry standards.
- Participate in client presentations design reviews and project coordination meetings.
Qualifications :
- Licensed Architect with the ability to get licensed in the state of Florida (required) plus NCARB certification.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- 15 years of architectural experience with at least 5 years in Life Sciences Pharma or Biotech sectors.
- Proven experience with cleanroom design GMP facilities and regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of personnel/material flow adjacency planning and facility programming.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead client meetings and internal design discussions.
- Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and other design software.
- LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
