Resident Engineer, Mechanical Electrical Data Center

• Oversee mechanical and electrical works on-site including HVAC systems chilled water systems power distribution UPS generators and fire suppression systems.
• Ensure adherence to design specifications local codes and international standards.
• Conduct inspections and testing of M&E installations.
• Verify compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Liaise with project managers consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Review shop drawings material submissions and method statements for M&E systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system issues during construction and commissioning phases.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Ensure timely resolution of site-related challenges.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering preferably in data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems chilled water systems power distribution UPS and fire suppression systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with Singapore building codes and regulations.
