Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Demi Chef De Partie to join our culinary team in Udaipur India. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will work closely with the Chef de Partie to ensure the smooth operation of your assigned section while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards
  • Ensure proper mise en place for your station before service begins
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow and timely food delivery
  • Monitor and maintain proper food storage rotation and labeling to minimize waste
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Contribute creative ideas for menu development and dish presentation
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge

Qualifications :

  • Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management or equivalent culinary education
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or reputable restaurant
  • Certificate in culinary arts or a relevant field (preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in various cooking techniques and food preparation methods
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Creativity and passion for food preparation and presentation
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic computer skills for menu planning and inventory management
