General Technician Club Cars

• The Golf Car Technician is responsible for the maintenance repair and troubleshooting of a fleet of electric and gas-powered golf cars. This role involves performing routine inspections diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and executing repairs to ensure all vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.
• The technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all maintenance work and parts inventory.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all golf cars including oil changes brake inspections and battery checks.
•  Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in both gas and electric vehicles.
•  Repair or replace damaged components such as engines motors transmissions batteries and electrical systems.
•  Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately assess vehicle conditions and perform repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs maintenance schedules and parts used.
•  Install accessories and custom components as requested.
•  Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
•  Keep the maintenance shop and adjacent areas clean organized and safe.
•  Communicate with management and other staff about vehicle repair needs and status.
•  Stay updated on new technologies and industry advancements in golf car maintenance.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in small engine repair or automotive mechanics is a plus.
•  Proven experience as a mechanic with specific experience in golf cars or similar recreational vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of small engines and both AC and DC electrical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various positions.
