Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle including RFIs RFPs RFQs and project management of proofofconcepts in partnership with internal teams customers and commercial partners.
• Listen actively to customer needs interpret technical requirements and design solutions that deliver exceptional value.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners working closely with sales colleagues.
• Continuously expand knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions while maintaining awareness of the competitive landscape and evolving cybersecurity threats.
• Communicate effectively with customers in person and remotely using presentations whiteboarding technical papers and discussions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records of activities contacts and account information in Salesforce.

Qualifications

We encourage applications from individuals with diverse experiences and transferable skills. You may be a strong candidate if you have:

• Aptitude for security technology including encryption authentication and network security. Knowledge of intrusion detection antivirus routing switching LAN/WAN or CISSP accreditation is a plus.
• Experience in a presales engineering role managing technical aspects of deals through closure.
• Demonstrated problemsolving skills that have contributed to successful outcomes.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Understanding of protocols and technologies such as RADIUS PKI IKE Certificates L2TP IPSEC FIREWALL 802.1Q MD5 SSH SSL SHA1 DES 3DES.
