Position Overview: EMEA Sales Director (2026)

Your Role

Iterable is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Director who excels in value-based selling and leadership. Reporting to the VP of Sales you will need to be a team-oriented management professional who works cross-functionally with key members of the Customer Success Marketing and Sales Operations teams.

We are seeking a candidate who has demonstrated success in past sales Enterprise leadership roles consistently achieving quotas hiring and developing sales talent and possessing a strong background in complex sales motions. We are seeking someone who not only consistently exceeds sales metrics but also builds a strong culture and foundation in the EMEA market.

Please note this is a hybrid role out of our London office.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be the Sales Leader for the EMEA North and South Sales team.
  • Provides directional leadership for a growing team of Enterprise Account Executives or Mid Market Executives.
  • Oversee the daily activities and performance of each Account Executive
  • Consistently meets/exceeds the outlined metrics as a manager - ARR closed won / Pipe generation / Linearity / Forecast Accuracy
  • Continue to build and strengthen your team through recruiting hiring and development strategies. Accountable for building your own bench for backfills and expansion.
  • Drive operational excellence through constant process innovation and technology toolsets
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with Business Development Solution Consulting Marketing our Partner network and the Iterable Executive team. Proactively identify and implement new strategies to improve the sales cycle
  • Strong organisation/prioritisation skills; proven ability to consistently meet deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Nice to have but not mandatory - B.A./. in Business Administration Finance Marketing related fields or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of sales management experience in a high-tech startup environment.
  • 8-10 years of quota-carrying B2B enterprise software sales experience.
  • Strong track record of running a net-new business acquisition team.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding against quota and outlined metrics.
  • Previous experience with enterprise email marketing and/or marketing automation solutions - preferred but not essential.
  • Being bilingual is an advantage in an EMEA language such as French Spanish Italian and Dutch.
  • Strong experience working with and other CRM platforms.
  • Acquainted with Challenger Sales Methodology and MEDDPIC for qualification and deal management.
  • Team player whos comfortable working with all department leaders in a startup environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to be an inspirational leader.
  • Willing & able to travel throughout EMEA as & when required for work-related events and meetings with the ability to travel to the USA also.
