Job Summary
Overview
Shift: Days; 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Demonstratesexpertiseand leadership in surgical orthopedics neurologyspineand podiatry which actively affects the quality of patient care within these subspecialties.Involved and activelyparticipateswith staff education coordination of and continued upgrade of equipment and instrumentation as it relates to specialty areas.Is a liaison for sales representatives for the various specialties andthe surgeons.Assists with staff competencies as it relates to the specialty areas as well as all cost containment initiatives and optimal practice in the perioperative setting.Assistswith all coordination related to robotic cases both DaVinci and Mako.

Responsibilities
- Identifiesexpected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation.
- Identifiesrealistic and measurable outcomes which are complimentary to medicalplan of careand centered on the patients andfamilys/significantothersneeds andappropriate practiceguidelines.
- Collaborates with co-workers physician other disciplines patient and family
- Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or the situation.
- Integrates research findings into practice
Qualifications
Experience:
- Three (to five) years of clinical experience inspecialtyarea
- Background in orthopedics and robotic surgery
Education:
- Diploma from an RN program.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
- Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must possess and maintain ACLS
