Overview
Join Our Environmental Services Team as a Hospital Housekeeper
Help us create a clean safe and welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. As a Housekeeper youll perform routine cleaning dutiesincluding patient rooms restrooms lounges offices classrooms and corridorsfollowing our departments standard operating procedures. Your work is essential to maintaining the highest standards of health and comfort throughout the hospital.
Schedule: 7:00 AM3:30 PM MondayFriday with weekend rotation

Responsibilities
- Follow step by step training
- Make Sure rooms are ready for patients guests and staff
- Keep floors clean and sanitized
- Always keep patient information confidential
- Take our trash and laundry
- Move furniture and set up meeting rooms
- Report any repairs needed
- Clean equipment
- Follow all UnityPoint Health Des Moines rules
- Help with emergency situations as needed
- Perform other duties when assigned
Qualifications
Must be able to safely lift bags of laundry trash or equipment weighing up to 50 be able to read write speak and understand fluent English.
