This role is perfect for someone creative energetic and people-focused who enjoys planning meaningful programs and helping residents live life to the fullest. About the RoleThe Campus Life Coordinator is responsible for developing organizing and implementing on- and off-campus programs events and activities that support the physical social emotional intellectual and spiritual well-being of our Independent Living residents. This position plays a vital role in building community fostering engagement and enhancing residents quality of life. What Youll DoPlan coordinate and facilitate daily weekly and monthly activity programs. Build strong relationships with residents to understand their interests and enrichment goals. Support new resident onboarding and engagement through the Campus Life portal and photo directory. Manage activity logistics supplies inventory and budget. Coordinate with other departments (Dining Wellness Marketing etc.) for community-wide events. Maintain partnerships with local organizations volunteers and entertainers. Support Campus Life services and troubleshooting for GoIcon. Accurately document attendance participation and program schedules. Participate in staff meetings community events and professional development. Perform additional duties as assigned.
What Were Looking ForMinimum of two years post-secondary education OR a high school diploma with two years of experience in senior services or related programming. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Creative positive flexible and outgoing personality. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively with residents staff families and visitors. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management. Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
