Your work environment at EXP

In this role you will be a part of the Infrastructure Transportation business practice in the Mid Atlantic Sector based in Washington DC. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for various projects. Project types will be diverse and include but not be limited to new structures rehabilitation of existing structures and inspections and load rating of existing structures including bridges culverts retaining walls and transit/railway facilities. The projects will involve a wide variety of structure types foundations and materials for clients such as DDOT VDOT MDOT WMATA Utility Owners Federal Agencies Private Developers and Metropolitan Washington Local Governments and Municipalities.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Conduct business development in Rail and Transit and Structural Engineering.
• Help preparing or review technical proposals.
• Attend project meetings and management meetings.
• Perform Quality Control of design projects.
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor..

What your experience looks like

• B.S in civil engineering or related field.
• PE in DC MD or VA.
• Managed WMATA projects.
• Supervised at least 10-person engineering team.

The pay range for this role is $60000 to $100000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set depth of experience certifications and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
