RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the sales department in selling and delivering cars
- Organizing the vehicles in all the showrooms and storage lots
- Stocking in of new and used vehicles. This includes all the paperwork inventorying and gassing the cars
- Getting cars ready for delivery when sold - gassing the car and assisting detail department with sticker removal
- Driving dealer trades delivering cars to customers and shuttling cars as needed.
- Maintain the battery charging process and battery charging log to properly ensure batteries are charged at all times
- Maintain decals on used cars buyers guides/not for sale tags on cars and current sale tags in cars
- May be required to help replenish all vehicle fluids as needed and perform other minor vehicle assistance.
- Makes key tags for vehicles
- Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
- Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Pick-up and deliver vehicles from storage
- Assist with showroom clean-up and deliveries when needed
- Perform other duties given by Supervisor as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Positive attitude can-do mentality confident outgoing personality eagerness to improve
- Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
- Able to work flexible schedules including Saturdays
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Experience with X-Time and CDK a plus
COMPENSATION:
- The Sales Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $19.18 and $21.00. Hourly rate depends on experience.
