Job Title - Tenant Support Housing Officer

Permanent

Grade C

Working 36.5 hours per week

About the Role:

As a Tenant Support Officer you will work closely with Localities Housing Officers to provide a seamless and responsive support service for tenants with complex and sensitive needs. You will:

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children care leavers vulnerable adults and families.
  • Provide confidential non-judgmental support to tenants affected by domestic abuse helping them develop personalised safety and support plans.
  • Collaborate with key partners including Voids and Lettings Teams police social services and voluntary agencies to coordinate wraparound support.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify risk and support needs ensuring timely referrals and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate confidential case records in line with data protection and safeguarding standards.
  • Organise and chair case planning and review meetings and attend resident and multi-agency meetings as required.
  • Support tenants with income maximisation welfare benefits and tenancy-related matters to help them sustain their homes.
  • Contribute to awareness-raising initiatives and staff training on domestic abuse and safeguarding.
