Job Summary
Arabic and English language proficiency essential
Candidates must have current medical license to practice.
Hold Consultant License with the SCFHS by holding a Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification such as:
Western training: American Board/ UK CCT/ Australia or NZ Royal College Fellowship/ Western European Specialisation Board.
Experience: 3 to 5 years post board or specialisation certification experience depending on country of origin to qualify for Consultant with the Saudi Council.
Professional Experience
Minimum of 3-4 years post-Board/Fellowship experience in pediatric anesthesia.
Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
As a Pediatric Anesthesiologist Consultant at a leading hospital your primary responsibility is to provide expert anesthesia care to pediatric patients ensuring their safety and comfort during surgical procedures. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams while staying updated on the latest advancements in pediatric anesthesia to uphold the hospitals exceptional standards of care.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality pediatric anesthesia care.
Provide consultative services as required.
Supervise fellows assistant physicians and residents.
Participate in the training and education of residents and fellows within your area of expertise.
Contribute to research activities.
Serve on committees and engage in other administrative duties as necessary.
Perform special procedures according to privileges granted.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
