The Role What Youll Do
Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons at KS4KS5.
Cover core computer science areas including programming (Python/Java) algorithms systems architecture cybersecurity and computational thinking.
Use AFL and feedback to drive strong progress.
Support enrichment such as coding clubs robotics competitions hackathons and industry links.
Contribute to schemes of work exam prep and digital resources.
Maintain high expectations of behaviour and effort.
Take part in wider school activities and pastoral duties.
Person Specification
Essential
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
QTS/PGCE.
Strong knowledge of programming and exam specifications.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
Desirable
Experience with OCR/AQA.
Experience running STEM/tech enrichment.
Ability to support university applications for CS-related degrees.
