client in Farmington CT that is seeking a Change Manager for a part time role.
Summary:
This ERP implementation initiative spans multiple functions across the U.S. and Canada with minor international shipping implications.
It is moderately complex and sensitive due to concurrent transformations and confidential projects alongside competing initiatives that share resources and employee attention.
The Change Manager will report to the Senior Manager - Material Management OSC Materials Management and will partner with the Change Management Team as well as various project team(s) in Operations Supply Chain and Digital Technology to build and execute change strategies and tactics for small/medium/large organizational changes.
The Change Manager will be embedded within a project team and expected to apply the Change Management methodology and tools to effectively support the change outcomes.
Duties:
* Partner with the Change Management CoE the project team and business stakeholders to align the timeline of the project milestones and change management activities
* Know when and how to use common change management tools (e.g. impact assessment stakeholder analysis communication plan and training plans)
* Develop engaging change communications to support leadership alignment and employee engagement
* Build and/or manage a change network - with support from internal colleagues
* Recognize learning needs and develop a strategy to increase end-user proficiency
* Monitor people-related risks and gather feedback to create mitigation and reinforcement plans
Required Skills : * Bachelor s degree in a related field required; Master s degree preferred * Certification preferred in change management (Prosci Association of Change Management Professions Kotter etc.) * 3 years of experience in leading and executing organizational change efforts * Advanced communication skills (written verbal facilitation and presentations) * Savvy with technology (i.e. Microsoft suite) * Effectively applies Change Management principles and methodologies * Demonstrates proficiency in influencing others toward a common goal * Demonstrates willingness collaborate and ability to get work done through others
