Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Roadway Design
Location: Denver CO
Prioritized must haves for the Senior Project Manager - Roadway Design:
#1. Bachelors Degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college
#2. A minimum of 15 years of experience in transportation engineering;
#3. Proven success in project management/delivery of roadway design projects.
#4. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado; licensure in additional states may be required in the future
#5. Proficient in operating various specialized software including but not limited to CADD and 3D modeling software (AutoCad and/or Microstation) Microsoft Word and Excel
Requirements for the Senior Project Manager - Roadway Design:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering roadway design projects.
- Experience working in Colorado is a plus.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado with potential for additional state licensures in the future.
- Employees using personal vehicles for work purposes must provide proof of insurance and a valid drivers license.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles techniques and equipment applied to the design and production of deliverables.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet project deadlines while staying within budget and time constraints.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing projects with minimal supervision.
- Focused on quality control and quality assurance.
- Assist in developing proposals statements of qualification and responses to various solicitations.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors colleagues and other departments.
- Proficient in using specialized software including but not limited to CADD 3D modeling (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation) Microsoft Word and Excel.
