Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in Ambulatory Care is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to adult and pediatric patients. This role involves working 5x8 hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. The position requires floating within scope to meet facility needs and demands a commitment to providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in an ambulatory care setting.
- Perform patient assessments medication administration and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Float within scope to various units as required by the facility.
- Document patient care and related duties accurately.
- Assist with patient registration activities as needed.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Adult and PEDS experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
- Clinical Assessment Medication Administration and Treatment Planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Special Considerations:

- Mandatory float facility; all resources are required to float at the facilitys discretion.
- Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
- No RTO on weekends.
- No RTO the day prior or after a holiday.
- No holiday RTO.
Scheduling:
- 5x8 hour shifts 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
