Job Summary:
The Web Developer will be responsible for designing developing and deploying web applications with a focus on maintaining and enhancing existing systems including legacy applications. The role involves collaborating with Business System Analysts IT teams and QA staff to implement system enhancements and integrate applications with a new target system.

Responsibilities:
- Design develop and deploy web applications.
- Implement new features and enhancements.
- Conduct unit testing to validate code quality.
- Participate in technical design reviews.
- Ensure solutions meet all functional and performance requirements.
- Implement feature requests address bug fixes and optimize performance.
- Modify legacy codebases in a safe and controlled manner.
- Design and develop services that integrate existing and legacy applications with a new target system.
- Create comprehensive unit tests.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 5 years of experience with front-end development using Angular or React for complex applications.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs preferably with Java/Spring Boot or equivalent.
- SQL development experience including complex queries and basic optimization.
- Experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Experience with Git and modern version-control workflows (branching merging pull requests).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving full-stack application issues.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior experience in tax systems or financial technology (2 years).
Special Considerations:
- Onsite work required 3 days per week.
Scheduling:
- Standard business hours.
