The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing building and maintaining automation and deployment pipelines ensuring efficient reliable and secure software delivery across various environments. This role bridges development testing and operations advocating for infrastructure as code monitoring and release management.

Location:Linthicum Heights Maryland United States
Responsibilities:
- Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (automated build test deployment).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools.
- Monitor alert and maintain system health performance and capacity.
- Lead incident response root cause analysis and post-mortem processes.
- Ensure system reliability high availability scalability and security in deployed environments.
- Collaborate with development QA and DB teams to streamline deployment and release cycles.
- Optimize infrastructure cost and resource utilization.
- Mentor junior DevOps/operations engineers.
- Evaluate recommend and adopt new DevOps tools practices and automation.
- Ensure compliance with security audit and governance policies.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning backup and business continuity.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in operations / DevOps roles (or 3 years at senior level).
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash Python PowerShell).
- Experience with CI/CD tools.
- Deep familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK Datadog).
- Experience in release / change management versioning rollback strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
