The Scrum Master facilitates agile/scrum processes for development teams. This role ensures adherence to Scrum practices removes obstacles cultivates a high-performing team and drives continuous improvement and value delivery to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a servant-leader and coach to Agile development teams.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups sprint planning review retrospective).
- Help the team maintain the sprint backlog manage velocity and deliver commitments.
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress.
- Foster collaboration among product owners developers testers and stakeholders.
- Support the product owner in maintaining the product backlog prioritization and refinement.
- Track and report team metrics (burndown velocity cycle time).
- Promote continuous improvement and agile best practices.
- Shield the team from distractions and help manage dependencies.
- Facilitate cross-team coordination and integration.
- Support the adoption of agile across the program/organization.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of experience working in agile environments as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Strong understanding of Scrum/Agile frameworks and practices.
- Excellent facilitation coaching conflict resolution and communication skills.
- Experience working with software development teams in enterprise or government settings.
- Ability to work with remote/distributed teams.
- Familiarity with agile tools (JIRA Azure DevOps etc.).
