Job Summary
Job Title: AS400 Developer
Location: Frisco Texas(Remote)
Must Have - AS400 RPGLE SQLRPGLE RPG ILE Concepts CLLE/400DB2/400 SQL/400 Job scheduler
**Hands-On Developer with around 9-12years of experience not more than that.
Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
- Design code test and implement applications using AS400 RPGLE SQLRPGLE RPG ILE Concepts CLLE/400DB2/400 SQL/400 Job scheduler.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Maintain and enhance existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Document technical specifications and project progress for stakeholder communication.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in AS400 RPGLE/400 and SQL development.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL):
- Experience with modern development tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams.
