Job Summary

Job Title: UT - Ultrasound Tech
Job Location: Roosevelt UT

Job Description:

Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology and ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols to support accurate diagnosis and treatment

Conduct all ordered ultrasound and diagnostic radiology procedures within the hospital ensuring timely and efficient workflow

Maintain competency in both ultrasound and diagnostic radiology modalities keeping skills current with evolving standards

Evaluate images for technical quality completeness and diagnostic value before submission to interpreting physicians

Prepare operate and maintain ultrasound and radiology equipment ensuring proper function and readiness

Follow all department and modality-specific policies and procedures related to imaging equipment use documentation and safety

Maintain accurate patient records perform required clerical duties and enter exam data into hospital systems

Support inventory and supply management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and organization

Contribute to the development and revision of departmental policies and procedures

Ensure imaging areas are clean organized and presentable to support a safe and professional environment

Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures addressing concerns and promoting comfort throughout the exam

Foster positive working relationships with physicians patients and staff to support coordinated patient care

Participate in cross-training opportunities as needed to support department coverage and flexibility
