Position: Software Principal Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 15 Months

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Onsite

Job Description:

Design and develop scalable middleware systems using Java and Spring Boot.
Implement high-performance reliable and maintainable code.
Utilize Elasticsearch to build and optimize search and analytics solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development.
Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
Solid understanding of RESTful Backend/API design and development.
Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch including indexing querying and performance tuning.
Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of GIT CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Mandatory Skills

Java & Spring Boot: 7 years
Middleware & Service-Based Architecture: Minimum 4 years of experience.
Database Management: At least 4 years of experience working with any database.
System Design: Minimum 2 years of experience in designing distributed systems or enterprise-level applications.
DevOps Tools: at least 2 years of experience in Git; CI/CD Pipelines Docker & Kubernetes

Good-to-Have Skills

Elasticsearch
Cloud Exposure: AWS Azure or GCP.
Monitoring & Logging Tools

Experience:

Total Exp: 8-12 Years
Rel Exp: 7 years
