Job Summary

Infotainment Testing

Location: Bengalore

Exp: 3Yrs

Educational Background:
Bachelors or masters degree in Electronics Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Infotainment Testing with a strong focus Experience with HMI testing Bluetooth Wi-Fi and smartphone integration (Android Auto Apple CarPlay).
Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in automotive infotainment testing.
- Experience with microcontroller (MCU) /Input/Output Controller (IOC) testing.
- In-depth knowledge of CAN/LIN Communication Protocols and UDS Diagnostics Protocol.
- Experience with requirement management tools like DOORS or DNG.
- Hands-on experience with test tools (Vector CANoe/CANalyzer PCAN Oscilloscope etc.).
- Knowledge of defect management and test management tools (e.g. JIRA ALM).
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python CAPL) is a plus.
Additional Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a self-motivated result-driven attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Communication:
Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Job Responsibilities:

Have a good understanding of Infotainment Systems and key domains like experience on enforced builds Android Systems (System Infra and System Core) Cluster testing FUSA CAPL scripting Vehicle Functions & Diagnostics connectivity HMI Audio CAN UDS and Tuner technologies.
Develop execute and maintain Software & System-level test cases and test plans for infotainment features.
Perform manual and automated testing of infotainment systems in both bench and vehicle environments.
Identify document and track defects; collaborate with development teams for resolution.
Conduct regression integration and acceptance testing for new software releases.
Utilize automotive communication and diagnostic tools (e.g. Vector CANoe/CANalyzer PCAN) for system validation.
Prepare detailed test reports and provide feedback on system quality and readiness.
Support root cause analysis of issues and participate in troubleshooting activities.
Perform detailed analysis of reported issues bugs and defects. Handle bug analysis bug verification and tracking ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly.
Ensure that KPIs defined by leadership are consistently met and drive improvements to achieve high-quality results.

API or SW Interface Testing or White-Box testing using Gtest or LDRA tools .
