Coverage is roughly 8-5 M-F but the start is usually 830 with a 30 min lunch that varies between 11-130 depending on what is happening with the have weekend coverage for physical therapy only but the timing is not specific as it is based on the number of patients in the hospital that need to be seen. It is typically done at some point between 8-5 but occasionally runs late if the therapist has something else going on that a traveler 25 bed Rural critical access hospital. 4 beds are ICU 4 others assigned to women s health (birthing suites). Activity/Rehabilitation room is in is consistent but dynamic based on patient load. There is additional scheduled coverage from our outpatient clinic daily (2-4 hours) and need is determined daily during huddle in the morning and communicated with our Outpatient Lead Therapist. Weekend schedule is done by me personally however; the time for the coverage is not specifically is done currently through powerchart.

Day Shift; M - F ; 8am to 5pm; outpatient PT position minimal acute inpatient coverage from time to AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree from four-year accredited college or university in physical therapy or degree in a related fieldEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experienceLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: A valid California drivers license when travel is requiredLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Current BLS course completionLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Current California Physical Therapy license or eligible for registrationLICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Member of APTA preferredQUALIFICATIONS: Able to organize and monitor the work of : Able to relate effectively with patients nurses physicians and other hospital/home health staff in a courteous professional mannerQUALIFICATIONS: Able to work independently with minimal supervisionQUALIFICATIONS: Analytical and diagnostic ability capable to interpreting patient physicians orders for physical therapy patients and developing an effective treatment plan as neededQUALIFICATIONS: Evidence of automobile insurance when travel is requiredQUALIFICATIONS: Relates well with other staff members and various other hospital personnel in a courteous professional manner at all timesQUALIFICATIONS: Utilizes good oral and written communication skills sufficient to meet the demands of the job
