Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify and catalog disparate data sources across the organization which are used in existing reconciliation today.
Analyze data structures from systems including:
- Internal mainframe database tables - It will primarily be DB2 with potentially a small amount of VSAM.
- MongoDB instances
- Oracle Data Warehouses
- 3rd-party vended platforms - The work shouldnt require knowledge of the specific platforms just the learning agility to be able to work through potentially sourcing data from them. For context below is the list that has data sources.
- Banking BAI files and other financial data formats
Design and document strategies for efficient data extraction transformation and mapping to vendor-specified schemas.
Partner with data engineers and integration teams to implement ETL pipelines and ensure data integrity.
Create data flow diagrams source-to-target mappings and technical documentation to support implementation and vendor onboarding.
Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external teams to ensure alignment on data requirements and delivery timelines.
Identify risks and dependencies related to data availability quality and system compatibility.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g. Oracle MongoDB DB2).
Experience working with legacy systems financial data formats (e.g. BAI files) and vendor integrations.
Proficiency in data mapping data modeling and ETL concepts.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Experience with data governance metadata management and data cataloging tools.
Familiarity with data integration platforms (e.g. Informatica Talend MuleSoft).
Knowledge of financial services or banking systems.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira Confluence or Aha!
