Job Description
Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager required to join a global market leading valve manufacturer.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Managerwill work remotely covering the whole of the UK selling products such as control valves isolated valves actuators and related mechanical engineering products selling into End Users.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Managerwill ideally have a track record of selling flow control products such as valves instrumentation actuators or similar. This is a UK wide position but beneficial if you are based around the M62 or M25 .

Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Role
- Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers within the mechanical engineering industry.
- Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling products such as control valves isolated valves actuators and related mechanical engineering products.
- Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Cover UK selling into End users.
Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Requirements
- Experience as an Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager / Territory Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager / Key Account Manager or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
- Will ideally have proven experience working with control valves isolation valves pumps actuators instrumentation or other similar mechanical products.
- Have a mechanical engineering sales background with preference to those from a manufacturing environment.
- A technical mechanical engineering qualification or degree is advantageous
- Able to cover the whole of the UK.
