The Role
Presidios Innovation Team drives the creation of next-generation solutions that enhance business outcomes for our clients and internal teams. We are seeking a Senior Engineer (Innovation) with a strong product mindset hands-on technical expertise and a passion for innovation through cloud and emerging technologies such as Generative AI.
As part of this high-impact team you will play a pivotal role in designing prototyping and building scalable solutions that accelerate Presidios innovation strategy.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and development of innovative prototypes frameworks and internal accelerators that enhance Presidios cloud and AI capabilities.
- Research evaluate and apply emerging technologies including cloud-native and GenAI solutions to solve complex business challenges.
- Contribute to technical direction standards and reusable assets that drive efficiency across engineering teams.
- Mentor and guide engineers promoting a culture of continuous learning and experimentation.
- Participate in technical reviews demos and innovation showcases to share learnings across the organization.
Required Skills and Professional Experience
- 47 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more core languages: Python Java Go C# JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with microservices APIs containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Exposure to or interest in AI/ML GenAI or data-driven applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on building scalable maintainable solutions.
- Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
