Job Summary

We currently have opening for Neurology Technician details for the same are given below

Candidate Requirement: -

Graduation and Diploma or certificate in the neurology specialty

6 - 8 years experience in the neurology specialty

Job Profile: -

Assist the Director / Consultant in delivery of patient care as per the clinical standards.

Adhere to the standard neurology departmental procedures and protocols.

Conduct EEG (Electroencephalogram) EMG (Electromyography) Evoked Potential Study (SSEP VEP BERA) RNS(Repetitive Nerve Conduction Study) as per defined procedures and in consultation with treating consultant.

Conduct IONM as per requirement of surgical team in OT and in consultation with treating surgeon.

Prepare the test report in digital media (CDs) and SAP for review of consultant.

Check with the Director / Consultant about his / her need for standard and special equipment and ensure availability.

Coordinate with the nursing staff to fill the requirements and needs for any particular neurology activity as and when required.

Responsible for upkeep & calibration of all equipment of the department. Liaise with Biomedical Engineer to ensure to smooth functioning of all pertinent equipment.

Report any damage to the instruments / equipment in the department to the concerned Biomedical and follow up for replacement.

Assist / perform the procedure or tests such as per the qualifications clinical credentialing and experience as approved by the HOD.

Support in transferring and positioning of the patient during and after all procedures.

Ensure the disinfection of the Electrodes.

Seek guidance from Clinician about steps of procedure and methodology to enhance a better understanding of the processes

Any other responsibility as assigned by the HOD on the need basis
