Your New Role and Responsibilities

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact across a portfolio of dynamic IT projects Leidos Australia is seeking a Senior Project Financial Analyst to play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.

In this role you will:

  • Act as a strategic business partner to program and project teams offering financial advice that aligns with operational goals and contractual commitments.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across finance delivery and operations to ensure alignment and transparency.

  • Provide decision support through cost analysis scenario modelling and risk assessment to enable proactive financial management.

  • Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by leveraging historical trends and performance metrics to guide planning and resource allocation.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems.

What Youll Bring to Make An Impact

  • Proven ability to build strong business partnerships and effectively manage a diverse range of stakeholders across functions and geographies.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to navigating competing priorities and driving outcomes under tight deadlines.

  • Solid foundation in financial management reporting and governance with a track record of supporting project delivery teams and contributing to program success.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel Word and Outlook to support data-driven decision-making and reporting.

  • Experience working in a global business environment is highly valued particularly with financial systems such as CostPoint OAC or OBI.
