Gillette is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead the way in sourcing medical supplies surgical implants production materials and cutting-edge medical equipment. This is your chance to be the go-to expert driving value innovation and efficiency across our organization.
This is a hybrid/remote opportunity with expectations to work onsite at our St. Paul MN location 12 times per month at minimum and additional onsite presence as needed. To be considered candidates must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Strategic Sourcing & Value Analysis
Develop and implement sourcing strategies for medical products implants and equipment.
Perform value analysis on new and existing products balancing cost delivery terms and quality.
Drive organization-wide product standardization and lead Products & Value Analysis Committees.
Stay ahead of market trends emerging technologies and new product innovations.
Contract Negotiation & Management
Prepare negotiation plans aligned with internal customer requirements.
Negotiate agreements that reduce costs while meeting Gillettes performance expectations.
Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance with contract policies and procedures.
Create RFIs RFPs RFQs and other evaluation tools to award supplier contracts.
Increase utilization of GPO local affiliate and Gillette contracts.
Supplier Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Conduct vendor business reviews and evaluate supplier performance.
Establish parameters for managing contract terms timelines deliverables and budgets.
Ensure suppliers meet commitments and uphold Gillettes standards.
