Job Summary
ICU RN Nights Deaconess Crossroads (Mt. Vernon IL)
NO LOCAL CANDIDATES Must live 40 miles from facility
Contract Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: December 8
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Location: Deaconess Illinois Crossroads Crossroads Community Hospital Mt. Vernon IL
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7p7a)
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend / Every other holiday
Float Requirements
May float to Med-Surg as needed
May assist as House Supervisor if required
Primary responsibility: act as a resource for staff
Leadership support available at all times
Orientation preferred: a few shifts with current supervisor to review
Crash cart checks
Temperature checks
Supply/med access
This orientation is preferred not required
On-Call / Call-Back
No scheduled on-call
If placed on low-census call: must be able to return within 1 hour
Required Certifications (must be submitted with profile)
Active Illinois RN License
AHA BLS
ACLS
PALS
Experience Required
Minimum 2 years ICU/Critical Care experience
EPIC charting experience required
Strong ICU/Critical Care skill set
Unit Information
ICU Bed Count: 7 licensed beds
Ratios:
ICU: 2:1
Med-Surg (if floated): 3:1

Required Skills:
No candidates with an AZ home address on their drivers license will be considered Minimum 24 months of current PCU experience - REQUIRED BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) Certifications Arizona State License Required; Compact Allowed No time off; time off can be listed as preferred but will not necessarily be honored COVID and FLU vaccination required Travel experience Preferred Facility is allowed to cancel 1 shift per week/ MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT 40485
