Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Precision Grinder to join the manufacturing team at our Fulton campus. The Precision Grinder will be responsible for producing tight-tolerance components that meet strict quality and customer specifications while supporting daily production goals in a fast-paced high-precision environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate surface OD/ID magnetic chuck CNC and crush grinders
Read and interpret blueprints job packets and technical drawings
Select dress and maintain appropriate grinding wheels for each job
Inspect finished parts to confirm tight tolerances and high-quality finishes
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers calipers gauges and indicators
Perform basic maintenance and light repairs on grinding equipment
Work with team members and engineers to resolve issues and improve processes
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area in line with company standards

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of precision grinding or high-tolerance machining experience
Hands-on experience with grinding machines tooling and materials
Strong ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Mechanical aptitude with solid problem-solving skills
Reliable safety-conscious and able to work well within a team
