The Baffle Tailor is responsible for stitching and assembling baffle FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) bags ensuring high-quality construction and adherence to technical specifications. The role requires precision expertise with industrial sewing machines and understanding of FIBC design requirements.
Operate industrial sewing machines (e.g. Juki machines) to stitch baffle FIBC bags according to technical drawings and specifications.
Assemble panels loops straps and baffle inserts with accuracy and consistency.
Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety requirements.
Perform minor machine adjustments threading and basic maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
Collaborate with the production supervisor to meet daily production targets.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment following company HSE policies.
Report any material or machinery issues to the supervisor promptly.
Assist in training junior tailors or helpers when required.
Proven experience as a Baffle Tailor or Industrial Tailor in FIBC or PP woven bag manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Juki or other industrial sewing machines.
Ability to read and follow stitching patterns technical drawings and product specifications.
Attention to detail handeye coordination and consistent stitching quality.
Ability to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Basic understanding of safety procedures in industrial operations.
Experience in stitching 4-loop 2-loop U-panel and baffle FIBCs.
Knowledge of different PP woven fabrics webbings threads and liners used in FIBC bags.
Familiarity with quality control processes in FIBC production.
Ability to stand for long hours and operate industrial sewing machinery continuously.
Ability to lift and handle fabric rolls baffle panels and related materials safely.
