Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of cloud and on-prem storage and backup systems.
Evaluate and deploy next-generation storage and data protection technologies.
Oversee capacity planning performance optimization and monitoring.
Establish standards policies and disaster recovery procedures.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data availability and compliance.
Automate provisioning reporting and monitoring tasks.
Ensure consistent protection across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Lead root cause analysis for complex storage incidents.
Maintain architecture documents and operational runbooks.
Provide mentorship and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
One or more advanced certifications such as:
Azure Storage Specialist or AZ-104
AWS Advanced Networking or Storage Specialty
Dell EMC Specialist/Expert NetApp Certified (Professional level)
Commvault Certified Expert (CCE) Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA) or Veritas Certified Professional
ITIL Intermediate or higher
Minimum Experience
1012 years of IT experience.
57 years of specialization in storage backup and disaster recovery.
Proven experience designing and leading hybrid enterprise storage architectures.
Experience in performance optimization capacity planning and automation.
